Is There A Proper Water Facility At Public Transport Places ?
Availability of affordable drinking water at public places like Railway Station and Bus Stand is basic amenity.
Every class people travel through Public Transport some can afford sealed water bottle while some can’t,More than 70% passenger are depended on water facility available at station  so getting Pure water at public places are basic right of people.
The water that passenger drink at Railway Station or at Bus Station may not be fit to drink As per local survey, water sample were given to laboratory As per report Water is directly pumped to station without chlorination.

In conversation one passenger said that water they fill at station is not purified as colour of water seems to give the answer, but if we are on long journey we can’t keep such storage of water so we have be depend on water that can be filled at station  as we can’t afford sealed water bottle sometimes we have to get down the train with our children to fill the water as there is no proper facility, so that children can fill the water and pass it on to us its quite risky for us. from this we can assume that there should be some step taken for proper water supply on
 Railway Station.

Not only Railway Station  but also at Bus Stand too proper water facility should be maintain there also in conversation with a passenger we came to know that proper hygiene is not maintained their they don’t feel to drink water from their as most of the public use that water for fresh n up & for other purpose. So no option is left for them rather than to take sealed water bottle or to carry water with them from their place

On further inquiry we came to know that  IRCTC are in the process of rolling water machines over stations This would enable passengers to buy water for Rs 5 a liter and Rs 1 per glass And water coolers are in process at Bus Stands.
